Sad for the work part lou, but really happy that you'll be spending most of your time with us here

Oh Lou, it saddens me to hear of your problems. Perhaps when your blood pressure is better controlled you can organize a little party with your friends from work?

Now a days there are just so many meds to choose from to manage your pressure that this shouldn't be a big problem (I hope).

You can count on your many friends here to support you, though! That's a bright spot, isn't it?

I've found that laughter and trying to always smile has a profound affect on your health in general.   May you feel better and keep us graced with your company.

I'm sorry to hear of your health problems, but as Doc said, the right medicine and a good Doctor can keep that under control. We'll be enjoying your contributions to the community for a long time to come.

I agree with Ed,having a good attitude goes a long way. My advice: Turn off the alarm clock, turn on the computer and enjoy your retirement.

Glad you are getting out before that final stroke did you in.  Have fun being home!

Although it's sad to leave old friends behind, you have a whole lot of new friends here.

I'm sure your doc will get your bp sorted.

I’m sorry for your work’s loss but I’m happy for our gain. Stay calm, eat right, post regularly.

I've read that potassium helps flush the sodium from the blood, and two bananas a day has enough potassium to work. Soooo, hope you really, really like bananas!

(But seriously, I have read that!)

lol luckily i love bananas and laughter - so time to pull myself together and enjoy being an artist in residence  lol

I'm so sad to hear about your health, but maybe taking early retirement will do the trick to bring down your pressure down and, like Doc said, you can schedule a time to pop in at work and say a proper goodbye to your coworkers and patients.  I sincerely hope you get this stroke thing under control.  I wouldn't want to mess around with anything that jacked with my neurological system.
