Quoting DrJBHL, reply 26Think of all the free medical advise you'll be missing.

The above is good advice Lou. I will see if I can find a member who is a Doc in case you need real good advice.

Or.... you could get a case of the runs from DaveLax.

Yeah, stick around Lou. It'll pass. And free medical advice from the Doc? I'm never leaving now.

Oh my that is really cruel.  On the good side lou if that is all you get from me you would be lucky.

There were times when I felt like leaving, also - and letting the door hit my arse on the way out - but I'm so glad I took my meds and slept on it a while.  It wasn't that I'd said anything untoward or silly, and it wasn't that anybody had or hadn't said anything to me, but more that I was feeling a bit low within myself and needed to pick myself up before deciding anything.  So yes, please take the advice of Phoon and others on-board before you actually disconnect from the great bunch of people here at WC.

When mrs starkers gets discouraged and feels like leaving because one of her walls gets sent just to her personal page, or when she feels that somebody doesn't understand her, I give her the same pep talk as myself and it's not long before she's back in the forums giggling at some post or other.

What's more, I don't want you to go, either.  For one, I like the posts you've put up - always a laugh in those - and in particular your effervescent and sassy sense of humour.  You've been a breath of fresh air in a group of forum pages that would otherwise have been rather quiet and decidedly more boring.

Besides, if you go, I'll never find out where you stash the pron and nuddy pics you mentioned to me.

And a free medical advice column from the Doc

Oh goody.

Dear Doctor,

I am a 57 year old male with a very embarrassing problem.  When I go to the toilet I have to shake more vigorously than most to remove the drips, thus I have been accused of doing something else at the urinal when I am not.  My GP suggests circumcision may relieve the problem, but it is a big thing at my age and I'm not so sure.  Please advise.... and is the procedure reversible if I don't like it?

stalkers, Doc is going to whip you something up I'm sure. He is a bit old and may be napping right now but he will be around.

on May 25, 2010

remove the drips

Now THAT would indeed be "useless dribble".

Loukeeya if you walk around in the pasture you're gonna step in some doodie once in awhile.  Just wipe it off and keep on going.  Everyone has their own opinion of how the forums should be run and if everyone got their way there would simply be nothing left.

Dear Confused:

You can ignore the problem and wait a few years and tell whomever is watching you have Parkinson's Disease. Alternatively, you can accuse the observer of being color blind and inform him he obviously doesn't know if he's coming or going.

As for your GP, I believe I quote The Bard when I say at your age that would be the cruelest cut of all. An unintended consequence (for the truly well endowed, such as yourself ... "It's a big thing at my age") is that with the sudden loss of weight, the non counterbalanced 'ahem' can cause a concussion.

The Procedure (note the capital P) is reversible, but the tension caused by it tends to turn the corners of the mouth down. On the brighter side, it will also lower the receding hairline and dispose of an unwanted navel.

Yours 'truly',

Doc

Dear Doc,

Thank you for the advice... and the "non-counterbalanced" warning.  At my age and mental frailty, a whack in the head and the subsequent concussion would have a devastating effect.  Therefore, I think that I will fore-go the procedure and cop the "wanking" accusations on the chin. I've been called worse things, and what does in matter anyway... so long as I'm not called late for meals.

Dear Confused,

It's only a sprain. Take two beers and call me in the morning.

Loukeeya, don't let the naysayers give you pause. The idea that there must be some sort of 'purity' in a community forum is bollocks, and simply shows a complete lack of perspective.

Even a cursory examination of the forum topics on this site show a fair amount of diversity, indicating (to anyone with an actual, functioning brain) that there is no reason why someone can't post whatever the hell they want to (I can't say that the post in question did anything for me, but I wasn't lame enough to be offended by it, that would have been even more childish than the post itself, arguably, might have been).

There's actually a 'Skinning' section of the forum for those who demand purity of subject. I really don't care if the general subject forum gets dedicated to pictures of cats (or whatever). It's called 'general' for a reason.

oh dear i really wish i had kept my big mouth firmly shut  lol

i wanted to cheer myself up so posted a post about nothing, sheer nonesense. 2 days prior i had heard that a very dear friend had died. humour is how i cope, and creating tons of art as deviantart will testify having been bombarded by me in the past few days.

my friend phoned me from hosp to let me know he had been diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas which had now spread to his liver. they were sending him home for his last few months. 2 days after our chat he died, this was a person who had a huge heart, loved people and worked alongside me as a nurse on our difficult liver ward. it was our sense of humour that helped many patients thru their transplants and also their families. even now i am not working they still call me and my patients still message me on facebook to say they miss my bubbly prescence. we both had a great sense of humour and even during our final phone call i managed to get a laugh from him. ok i dont claim to be the greatest skinners or most knowledgeable pc person but i am compassionate and i do need humour.

i appreciate all your comments as i am old enough to be able to see both sides of an issue, so peace love and harmony to you all x
